Stephanie & Matt have graced the blog a few times, both for their proposal/engagement and their marriage ceremony. In May of 2024, they officially got married, and you can read about that here. Their 2024 marriage ceremony was small and intimate at Steph's Uncle Ken's assisted living residence, but they wanted the party of a true wedding, which they celebrated on their one year anniversary.

Their 2025 wedding had everything that makes Steph & Matt unique, including their horses, dogs, a pet turkey, two live singers, brick oven pizza, and so much more. When I first met with them about this event, I was in shock that they had so many plans. They ended up partnering with Tyne & True Event Planning, which made the day flow beautifully and simply. I was also thrilled to help out at the wedding in a different way - by creating the floral arrangements for the aisle decorations, doorway decorations, and Steph's bouquet.

I started the day with my flat lay & detail shots. This time is always the calmest and favorite part of the day. I ask my bride and groom to have a box put together before their wedding day so I can grab it and go without disturbing them when getting ready. Looking at the little things that mean so much to them really helps me feel connected to the couple.

Next up I grabbed some getting ready photos - both posed and candid of Steph & her bridesmaids, as well as Matt and his daughter Chloe. Steph & her girls were hilarious, spending time on the fireplace as well as on the rocking horse Steph had as a child. I was slightly concerned about Steph falling and breaking a bone (she has a terrible track record with that) but we survived the day with no broken bones!
