The Bieler family is one of the families I have photographed at pretty much every major event in their lives. Pashance is my cousin once removed (aka my cousin's kid), but because my parents had me later in life, we grew up more like cousins not at all removed.

If you ask Pashance, I annoyed her in our early years, but when she got engaged in 2022, I was the person she called to photograph her wedding. (HAH!) I will never forget Chance and Pashance's wedding day because it was WINDY, WINDY, WINDY. Plus, Pashance got me walkie-talkies, and I got to listen to the groomsmen tell horrible dad jokes all day through said walkie-talkies.

The Bieler twins were born in the spring of 2023 and were my very first newborn clients. They were truly the babies that made me think I wanted to be a newborn photographer, because before them, I had zero interest in newborns! This fall family session was the third family session I completed for the Bielers, and was definitely a favorite. Pashance and Chance gave me free rein to fully style both them and their kiddos, as well as pick the location.

The day of their session reminded me a lot of their wedding day because it was horribly windy, but much colder. Thankfully, all three kids were in great moods and allowed me to capture the sweetest moments. For our location, we took over the horse pasture at my mom's house. When I was finished with the kids' pictures, they ran to the barn to see the horses, and I got to grab some extra pictures of their mom and dad.
